1. Transactions made on Paypal

The website has been set up with a secure server and uses Paypal for all direct and credit card transactions. Any losses sustained by the transmission of personal information and credit card details during these transactions shall be borne exclusively by you. Where goods have been paid for by Paypal cheque, I will need to wait for the cheque to clear before I despatch any goods. This can take quite a while in some cases. If you require your goods to be dispatched quickly, I recommend you use your credit card instead.

2. Your privacy.

I am not in the business of renting, selling or peddling your personal details or medical information to any third parties. Your email address provided in good faith to be on my mailing list will remain confidential and any other personal information provided during consultations remains strictly confidential. You can work with me in confidence. I do however reserve the right to inform you from time to time about new courses I may be running or new products I may be selling that I think will be of benefit to your wellbeing. If you do not wish to receive information about my services or newsletters about the health systems I promote, I will always provide you with the opportunity to “Unsubscribe” from my mailing list.

3. Courses

Some of my courses require fees to be paid upfront. In longer courses, a deposit is required and in shorter courses, the whole fee is required. Information about fees is always included in the publicity. When the potential Student is unable to attend the course, I will need at least ONE months notice before the course commences for the deposit or fee to be returned minus a £10 administration fee. If I have had to cancel a course due to low numbers or unforeseen circumstances, you are entitled to a100% refund. If I fall ill during a course and need to cancel a class that has already been paid for, I will offer you a voucher that can be used on a similar course in the future. If you fail to attend the course for any reason, no part of the course fee is refundable.

4. Consultations

If you are booking a consultation online, then you will need to pay for it upfront via my online shop. If you cannot make the appointment, I will need at least 1 week’s notice for a refund but will charge £10 cancellation fee. If you need to change the date or time of your appointment you must give me at least 24 hours notice or the full fee is chargeable. Fees for consultations vary from location to location. 5. Complaints procedure

If you have been dissatisfied with any aspects of my work, I would like to hear about it. I regularly invite my students and clients to evaluate the effectiveness of what I do as I am 100% committed to being as good a teacher and healer as I possibly can.

If however you would like to make an official complaint for any reason, I am a member of two professional organisations: one for Yoga and one for Ayurveda. Please correspond using the contact details below:

6. Products for sale

Herbs and Food supplements:

Refunds

I provide a no quibbles guarantee for the products that I sell. If you are unhappy with a product and it is in a re-sellable condition, I am happy to give you a 100% refund minus the postage up to 7 days after the delivery date. Thereafter, it is at my discretion whether I can accept the items or not. If I offer you a refund, I will transfer it to a bank account within 14 days thereafter. If the product was damaged on delivery or a mistake was made by me in the order, I will either replace the product or offer you a refund. In this case, I will also pay for the postage.

Out of stock items

I will always endeavour to keep information on the website updated however, on occasion, a product may be out of stock, I will advise you and either, offer you a refund, an alternative or a later dispatch date when I have re- stocked.

Liability for quality of products

The products I sell are from reputable companies that produce very high quality products. In the very unlikely event of toxic or other contamination of the products, I do not accept any liability.

Prices

I reserve the right to alter prices advertised on the website in line with the price changes of my suppliers. I also reserve the right to alter postage fees in locations that are more expensive to deliver to. I will advise you by email of any alterations of this nature.

Order confirmations.

You will automatically receive a confirmation of your order by email. Please check the all the details provided are correct as after the order has been dispatched, it is more difficult to rectify. You will have to pay postage for returning the unwanted goods and receiving the ones you wanted.

Duty and taxes

The Customer is responsible for any local taxes or duties pertaining to the products purchased.

Postage

For UK orders less than £35, £1.95 will be added to your order. For UK orders over £35, postage and packing is free. For overseas deliveries, the price will be based on the weight and size of the package. I will advise you by email and charge you accordingly.

7. Astrological Reports and Consultations

It is your responsibility to provide me with the correct data that will form the backbone of your astrological report or consultation. The data required is the Date of Birth, Time of birth and Place of birth of the recipient of the report or consultation. This data will be requested by email. If you have made a mistake when writing this data, I will not offer you a refund. It is at my discretion whether I offer you a report with the correct data. It is possible to have an astrological report made without the time of birth however the accuracy of the information is compromised. Please double check when providing data for an astrological report or consultation.

The reports I provide are written by a well known astrologers, not by me. I take no responsibility for the information and advice he provides. The reports are presented as general trends and are not predictive in nature. I do not use prediction in my work or the work of others as it does not fit in with my world view. I will advise you of this before you book an astrological consultation.

8. Disclaimer

I am neither a medical doctor nor a scientist. Therefore, I cannot legally take responsibility for your health nor can I scientifically prove that what I prescribe will be effective. I am a traditional practitioner. The methods I use pre-date science and have been used for thousands of years. In this respect, there is ample testimony of safety and effectiveness. Moreover, I endeavour to use the best quality herbs, organically harvested wherever possible.

Having said that, we are all unique and some people may have allergic reactions to certain herbs. I cannot predict these reactions so cannot be responsible for them. If you are suffering from an acute or chronic condition, it is up to you to consult your doctor first before embarking on a treatment programme with me. Most doctors will not be familiar with the methods I use, so may not be able to advise you one way or the other. It is however important to work with your doctor if you are on medication for a particular condition. The following conditions are the most common and involve the use of long term medicine:

• HIV/AIDS
• High Blood Pressure
• Arthritis
• Heart disease
• High Cholesterol
• Under or overactive thyroid

If you get an adverse reaction from the herbs you are prescribed, come off them and seek advice from me. It may have nothing to do with the herbs you are taking. My programmes often induce periods of difficulty as the body gets to work cleansing itself. This period of discomfort is commonly known as a healing crisis. A healing crisis may include headaches (much like coffee withdrawal), fatigue, fever depression or moodiness or a general feeling of weakness. Let it be understood that not everyone gets these symptoms but if you do, it’s not unusual nor is there anything wrong per se.
